Tongue Teasers

I personally call Indian cuisine Tongue teasers. Recipe's like "The Royal Lamb Kabab" is really a mild delicately fragrant curry. the total amount of flavours is subtle and delicious. It arises from the north of India. Cubes of lamb are marinated in fresh lemon juice and later blended having a smooth paste of ginger, cashew nuts, spices and yogurt. Fried onions, almonds and garlic add an additional flavour.

Tandoori Chicken is India's version of barbecued chicken. It gets its rich russet colour from saffron and some drops of red dye. Among the secrets of Tandoori chicken may be the marinade. The longer it's left within the marinade, the greater authentic would be the finished dish. It's served hot on the bed of lettuce leaves, garnished with onion rings and lemon wedges.

Chicken Korma is really a special type of curry distinguished by its rich spicy sauce. A succulent mixture of chicken cooked tender in spices like corriander, cumin, cinnamon stick, cardamoms, ginger, almond, onion, yogurt and clove. It's one of the most famous indian dishes and mostly the very first choice at parties and get-togethers.

Sweet Dishes like Jallebi, Rasgullah are flavoured with rose water syrup and served at the conclusion of meals. Especialy at festive occassion like marriage or birth of the child sweets are exchanged like a sign of good omen and happiness. Other sweet dishes like Gajar ka Halwa, Kheer will also be very famous in most indain homes.

The golden rule with Indian meals are that it is not static, it changes whenever a cook adds some extra something. Indian cuisine is definitely at its best.
